Your First Appointment

Reach out today and discover that you’re already on the path towards achieving personal growth.

Welcome!

Seeking support requires intention and courage. As you take these critical first steps, building an understanding of what to expect can be reassuring.

Telehealth

Prefer to receive therapy and remain in the comfort of your own home? I offer telehealth appointments to allow for flexibility and ease of access, no matter where you are.

Delivered by video link or telephone, the decision to use telehealth often comes down to personal choice and circumstances.

Telehealth may be for you if you are unwell, time-poor, or if transportation is unavailable. Evidence suggests that the benefits of telehealth therapy are on par with face-to-face therapy.

Hours

In-person

Connection and rapport are essential foundations for effective therapy. For some, rapport is maximised through face-to-face appointments in the clinic environment.

Attending therapy is a deeply private and personal experience. Trust and empathy are paramount.

Those preferring in-person appointments will find that I create a warm, welcoming and safe environment. My caring approach and the beautiful space will put you at ease. And we will both benefit from the presence of my beautiful Border Collie, Obi!

Hours

Before your scheduled appointment

You will be emailed confirmation of your booking and a digital registration form and consent form will be emailed to you.  Before you attend your appointment please:

  • Complete the online registration form
  • Read and complete the digital consent form
  • Email a PDF of your referral
  • Please do not sms photos. Instead, use a PDF converter or paste a photo of your referral [eg., jpeg] as an image into a Microsoft Word document. Then email as an attachment to me: drtraceyweiland@gmail.com

What to bring

Please bring along an exercise book, folder, or diary that you can dedicate to capturing insights, learnings, and new skills acquired in therapy.

Cancellation Policy

Providing at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment helps to keep your session costs down, maximises my availability to clients, and minimises lost clinical time. Fees for missed appointments and late cancellations require payment before subsequent appointments.

What to do if unwell

If you are unwell on the day of your appointment, please advise Tracey by sms. You can choose to attend and wear a mask [an air purifier is available in the room]. Alternatively, a telehealth appointment will be offered. As a limited number of appointments are available each week, a minimum of 48hrs notice is required to avoid the usual fee.
